Upper left is
a Graham-Paige
Model 629, a
car of this model
was taken out
of a dump in 1945
and sold to
Charlie. He used it
after
installing two
transmissions
and a gravity fed
gas tank.
I
don't remember a tire on
the side of
the car, but tires
were very
hard to get during
World War II.
The 629 Model of Graham-Paige had a 97
brake horse power, a 288 cubic inch power plant while utilizing a 129 inch
wheel base chassis.
The seven passenger model sold for $2,110,
(in 1928?)
