qualified teacher of the town of Brooklyn that the said Josie Krom is to teach
the common school of said District for the term of three months for the sum of
Eighteen dollars per month of ywenty days each for Fifty-four dollars
commencing on the 21st Day of April 1873 and for such services properly
rendered the Siad district is to pay Josie Krom
the amount that may be due according to this contract on or before the
14th of July 1873
The condition of the above contract is such
that if the said Josie Krom becomes dissatisfied before the expiration of the
term she will have the privilege of leaving the school, and if the said
district become dissatisfied before the expiration of the term the district
shall pay to the said Josie Krom for the wages at the rate of eighteen dollars
per month up to the time of dissatisfaction.

Sixteen inches thick, Joice 2 by 8 inches for sills, hand pine floor lined underneath
with good dimention boards and both jointed, joice over head 2 by 8 two by 6
inches for rafters, Shingles gilt edge or in other words clean with four
corners & no shakes in them, lath & plastered with hand finish, cornice
Same as Olin School house, 8 windows 12 by 14 glass, counter check Sash 5 ft
entry to be Seated by the board.

board let the work by the day, the board to oversee the building & buying
the material, the board (to Select a man to buy the material & pay his
expences $2.00 for his services if they wish.
