The TREE stands for
the TREE OF LIFE that grew in the Garden of Eden and symbolizes the EVERLASTING
LIFE God has given us.
The WREATH having no ends emphasizes our
ETERNITY.
The CROSS symbolizes our FAITH that through
His CROSS Jesus saved our Life from destruction by sin.
The ANCHOR stands for our HOPE OF HEAVEN
which moors us that we may not be driven astray by the storms of life.
The HEART symbolizes CHARITY that brings us
together in Christian LOVE.
CHRISTMAS - THE BIRTH OF CHRIST - reminds
us of the beginning of our Eternal Christian Life lived in FAITH, HOPE and
LOVE.

explain the five banners made by Doris Cottet and Harriet Shikoski. Each banner depicted the shape of either a
tree, a wreath, a cross, an anchor or a heart.
